Created in Sterling Silver and opals, this enchanting creature has been handmade in the Design Studio on the Navajo reservation and is therefore unique. Colours may vary slightly, but in this version the body and wings are white and turquoise opal, so they shine with glints of emerald, fire, moonstone and gold. In Navajo legend, the Dragonfly represents "illusion". As it dances between air and water, it reminds us that we need to balance the mental element air, with the emotional element, water. The Dragonfly is said to put us in touch with the magic and mystery of life and at the same time, reminds us to keep our feet on the ground. Size 4cm x 3cm (1½" x 1¼")
