This spectacular Turquoise Cuff is the very essence of Navajo Indian jewellery. Designed and created by hand in the Studios on the reservation in New Mexico, it features around a hundred, smooth, light blue Turquoise stones, which have been fashioned by hand into small teardrops and set in concentric ovals in Sterling Silver. Like many Navajo pieces, which echo Nature and the Cosmos, this Cuff is inspired by the sun, which sits at the centre of the design in Sterling silver, with the "rays" of Turquoise radiating out in equidistant splendour. The use of Turquoise as personal adornment by the Southwestern Indians dates back to prehistoric times and all stones used are genuine. Turquoise is the birthstone of December and signifies success.
