Navajo Sweetheart Necklace

Like the Love Goddess,  the Navajo Sweetheart is a one-off, created in the Design Studios on the Reservation in New Mexico under the direction of that most famous of all Red Indian desgners, Nakai.   Slightly smaller than the Love Goddess  this masterpiece of design has been hand-made by Skeets - whose hallmark is on the back.   Big.  Bold.  And very beautiful, the Navajo Sweetheart features a weighty Sterling Silver Heart with a fluted, elegantly-decorated edge depicting the Sun and Pampas grass.  The centre of the Sterling Silver heart is completely encrusted with semi precious stones - green and blue Turquoise in various shapes, Coral, Onyx, Amethyst, Jade and Opal.  And above the heart, a large hand-decorated bale links onto a stunning necklace made solely of small, smooth, veined Turquoise nuggets interspersed with tiny silver flower rondelles.  A mini-masterpiece on its own, with Sterling Silver hallmarked ends and extension chain, this necklace can, of course,  be worn on its own.  Size:  Heart: Width 5cm (2") Length  5cm (2")  Bale:  2cm (¾")  Necklace: 41cm (16") + 8cm (3")
