DOING A DAMIEN! Unless you’re George Michael, or perilously close to the top of the Rich List,  you certainly won’t be able to afford the latest Damien Hirst work of art.

Called “For the Love of God” it’s been created from the skull and teeth of a mere mortal.  But there the similarity ends, for the platinum cast of the original skull has been encrusted with 8,601 flawless diamonds, topped with a 52-carat perfect pink diamond from Angola 

Currently on the market for around £50 million (well, be fair, it cost Damien £20 million) it’s – pardon the pun – to die for!

As MAJ like to reflect art in our jewellery, we searched high and low and came up with our own tribute to Damien’s mega opus. Happily, it costs £49,999,978.01 less.
