But how did it get its name? What on earth has a bracelet got to do with tennis?
Well, apparently it dates back to 1987, when Chris Evert, darling of the Centre Court and seemingly well-known for wearing bracelets, stopped a match in its tracks when she dropped her single row diamond bracelet – which thereafter became known as the tennis bracelet.
